The Wallow fire has burned over 200,000 acres since May 30th and is being called the third largest fire in Arizona state history and is crossing the state line into New Mexico. Several towns with almost 10,000 people are being told
to leave their homes. There are 2,300 firefighters battling the blaze, but no progress has been made to contain it. They are at the mercy of the weather conditions as high winds and a lack of rain hamper success.
Where ever you are as you read this, I call on you to pray. Rain is desperately needed in the Southwest. The rains are still being withheld from our land and only the Lord can open up the heavens to release a steady, gentle and beneficial rain. Christian, now is the time to humble ourselves, pray to the Lord earnestly for Him to heal our land.
