The Iowa caucus is now over and the winner, by just 8 votes, was Mitt Romney. But the victory firmly belongs to Rick Santorum. The Pennsylvania underdog had very little money or momentum going into the hawkeyed state as he drove a pickup through all 99 counties. The former senator is now a front runner in the race for president as he is being fitted for a bull’s eye.
Rick Santorum has given God the glory in his victory speech. Mr. Santorum should understand that while there is a very real and tough political battle ahead, that is not the half of it. The bible tells us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. The battle is a spiritual one. In these last days, the enemy is at work like never before to take this world for himself. Followers of Jesus should be in prayer to win the battle.
