Former Penn State defensive coordinator, Jerry Sandusky, has been accused of doing the unthinkable with young boys, and is reported to have some 40 or more charges filed against him. These despicable acts have engulfed most of the Penn State football program, including head coach Joe Paterno. The firestorm has moved the students to protest and stand up for their team leadership.
Jesus was explicit about what would happen to those that hurt and corrupt little children, He said it would be better for them to have a millstone around their neck and be tossed into the sea. When we fail to condemn such evil behavior we join the evil doers in their debauchery. While Mr. Sandusky is due a fair trial and due process, if he should fail to stand against these charges, his punishment should be severe. The Lord would demand no less.
