Two earthquakes have rocked the United States as one hits Trinidad, Co and the other 40 miles north of Richmond, VA. Neither region has seen an earthquake for many decades and people were taken by surprise in both cases. On the east coast, the shock-waves were felt in New York, Washington DC and as far away as Chicago. There may even be damage to the Washington Monument and while it was shook the empty White House, the president of the United States was informed of the quake on the golf course at Martha’s Vineyard.
Of course, the bible tells us that earthquakes are a part of the last days, but these are relatively small quakes with little damage and loss of life, why should we take notice? Simple, we should take notice of these quakes because of their unusual location and timing. There will likely be others in strange places soon because that is what the bible says will happen.
